KORETAIL · GENERAL OPERATING GUIDE

Prepare your airport store

General operating suggestions, not sales or store-visitor forecasts.

Concept store model by business type, not an actual airport store location.

Staff from the queue in front of your store and what customers ask. The security queue is not your customer count.

For liquids, fragrances and sets, ask about connections before checkout and point to official carriage guidance. Have the airline confirm transfer restrictions; never promise clearance.

Remove friction between comparing, trying and buying.

Check stock by shade and size

Separate sun care, masks, skin care and makeup; reconcile sellable shelf and stockroom quantities. Use your own sales records to identify popular options, then list alternative shades, sizes and price differences for missing ones.

Reasoning and limits

A stocked product may still lack the requested option. Area population cannot establish demand for a specific product.

Connect consultation and testers

Ask about intended use, texture preference and budget; explain differences using product labels. Check single-use tools and tester cleaning/replacement records, and separate testers from sellable stock. Refer ingredient and precaution questions to official product information.

Reasoning and limits

Clear product information and maintained testers support continuous service. Do not promise effects or suitability for a customer’s skin.

Separate advice, checkout and packing

Before the forecast busy period, assign consultation and checkout/packing responsibilities. Prepare gift-set contents and prices, payment options and exchange information. Adapt language support to actual enquiries and adjust the task where a queue forms.

Reasoning and limits

Foreign resident counts and airline nationality do not reveal a customer’s language or preferences. Use observed enquiries and queues.
